SoulPray is designed with privacy at its core. We do not create user accounts, and we do not collect or store personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or IP address.

The following information may be collected automatically:

• Crash logs and diagnostic reports — collected through Apple's built-in diagnostics tools to help us identify and resolve technical issues.
• App usage data — such as which screens are viewed and how long you engage with features, collected via Apple Analytics and PostHog.
• Device information — including device model, iOS version, and language settings.
• Faith preference — you identify as a Christian when setting up the app, which is used solely to personalise your prayer and devotional experience.
• Age group — collected during onboarding for age-appropriate content personalisation.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

• Monitor app stability and diagnose technical bugs or crashes.
• Understand how users interact with the app so we can improve the experience.
• Deliver and manage subscription offerings through Superwall.
• Personalise your spiritual content, including AI-generated prayers tailored to your mood and intention.

All analytics data is anonymised. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell any data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

SoulPray relies on the following third-party services to function. Each operates under its own privacy policy and may process anonymised data as described below:

• Apple App Store & Apple Analytics — for in-app purchases and aggregate usage insights.
• Superwall — to manage subscription plans and display paywall screens.
• PostHog (Cloud) — for product analytics, feature usage measurement, and app improvement.
• Anthropic Claude API — to generate personalised, AI-powered prayers based on your in-app input.
• RevenueCat — for subscription management and purchase validation.

No personally identifiable information is intentionally transmitted to any third party.

4. AI-Generated Prayer Content

SoulPray uses artificial intelligence to craft personalised prayers for you based on the mood and intention you share within the app. This input is used in real time to generate your prayer and is not permanently stored on our servers or shared with any third party beyond what is necessary to process the request.

AI-generated prayers are provided for devotional and spiritual encouragement only.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Because SoulPray does not require you to create a user account, we do not hold a personal profile linked to your identity. However, if you would like to request the deletion of any analytics data associated with your device, please contact us at:

We will respond to your request and delete any identifiable analytics data retained through PostHog as promptly as possible.

6. Children's Privacy

SoulPray is rated 4+ on the Apple App Store and is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has inadvertently provided personal data, we will take prompt steps to delete that information. We take reasonable administrative and technical precautions to protect the information we process. All data transmitted between the SoulPray app and our services is encrypted in transit. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we are committed to following industry best practices to safeguard your information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, the revised policy will be published within the app and on our website with an updated Effective Date at the top.
